  16.       nc is    the client interface to    the NEdit text editor.    To use
  17.       nc, first run    NEdit in server    mode:

  21.       Client/server    mode is    useful for integrating NEdit with
  22.       software development environments, mailers, and other
  23.       programs; or just as a quick way to open files from the
  24.       shell    command    line without starting a    new NEdit session.
